Two-Day National Workshop on "Socio-Economic Impact of Responsible Rural Tourism in India" Sponsored by UGC a Resounding Success


MBC visakhapatnam: Guntur, Andhra Pradesh - The Department of Hospitality and Tourism at Acharya Nagarjuna University successfully conducted a two-day national workshop on "Socio-Economic Impact of Responsible Rural Tourism in India," sponsored by the UGC. This workshop brought together experts, academics, and policymakers in the field of rural tourism to discuss the socio-economic impact of responsible rural tourism in India.


The workshop covered various aspects of rural tourism, including:

 * Socio-economic benefits of rural tourism.

 * Challenges and opportunities in rural tourism.

 * Sustainable practices in rural tourism.

 * The role of technology in rural tourism.

 * Government policies related to rural tourism.


The workshop featured prominent director, national award winner, and Founder President of Visakha Travel and Tourism Foundation, Dr. Mani Bhushan, along with Vice President Gunaditya and their team. They provided research-based details on rural agricultural tourism and the use of artificial intelligence in skill development and employment generation for rural youth.
